Hissmofors Saw is a modern sawmill with roots dating back to the late 1800s. Since production started in 1982, we have developed into a high-tech facility with an optimized sawline and planing mill, where we process a wide range of building products. About the role We are now looking for night-shift maintenance technicians to join our team. You will be working with maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installations across the factory area – mainly indoors, but also outdoors when needed. We are a team of approximately 15 people who work proactively to ensure stable operation of the sawmill. The work is varied and covers the entire industrial area, giving you both challenges and development opportunities. Shift arrangement: 7/7 schedule: Monday 22:00 – Sunday 02:30. Followed by 7 days of leave – perfect for you who value longer continuous time off! Who are you? You have experience from an industrial environment, preferably in hydraulics, compressed air, mechanics or lubrication. Alternatively, you are a heavy machinery technician. If you have worked with preventive and systematic maintenance, that is a merit. You need to have some computer skills as we report and document our work in a maintenance system. You are a self-driven person who gets things done, solution-oriented and have good risk awareness. You enjoy working in a team, like to share knowledge and contribute to smart solutions that improve the sawmill's operations. Computer skills are required as we document work in our maintenance system. Requirements for the position: Category B driving license Completed upper secondary education with a technical focus (e.g. industrial, heavy vehicles, electrical and heating). Relevant experience can offset the education requirement. Experience with preventive and systematic maintenance is a merit The position is permanent and begins with a probationary period.
