We are now seeking a dedicated and aspiring stair installer who wants to become part of our tight-knit team. In this role, you will work with installation and assembly of custom-made stairs in both specialty and standard designs. We also perform stair renovations and stair railing replacements.
Projects vary between new productions, renovations, private homes, and commercial properties.
Since the staircase is often a central piece of furniture in a home, we place enormous emphasis on precision, finish, and professional execution. You will often depart from home with a service vehicle, or we start at the company and load together. We also try to carpool whenever possible. We work primarily throughout the Greater Stockholm area.
Your responsibilities:
Assembly and installation of stairs, railings, and handrails in materials such as wood, steel, metal, and glass.
Blueprint reading: Understand and work from technical drawings, assembly instructions, and construction drawings.
Measuring and adjustment: Fine-tuning, adaptation, and on-site verification measurements for perfect fit.
Customer contact: Represent the company externally and maintain good communication with both private customers, site managers, and other tradespeople.
Documentation: Ongoing reporting of completed work.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is practical, solution-oriented, and has an eye for detail. You thrive taking personal responsibility and can drive your work forward independently, while also being a team player when projects demand it. Initially, you will work alongside one of our experienced installers until you've found your footing.
Experience: Ideally 1-2 years of documented experience in craft work such as fine carpentry, building carpentry, or similar skilled trades.
Technical understanding: Very strong ability to read and interpret drawings and assembly instructions.
Tool proficiency: Good experience handling hand tools, measuring instruments, and professional power tools is a requirement.
Driver's license: Manual category B driver's license is an absolute requirement to operate the service vehicle.
Language: Fluent in Swedish (both verbal and written) for customer communication and documentation.
