The State Employment Agency (hereinafter - the Agency) announces a competition for a vacant civil servant position Employment Organizer Riga Regional Branch, Labor Market Division (1 position, 1 full-time equivalent, indefinite duration) Objective of the vacant position: Develop and strengthen cooperation with employers, provide support to employers in filling vacant positions. Requirements for candidates: compliance with the requirements of Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law; academic higher education or second-level professional higher education (preferably in social sciences); at least one year of experience in client consultation; at least one year of work experience in business communication and correspondence; understanding of state employment policy and knowledge of applicable regulatory acts in force in the Republic of Latvia; skills to evaluate facts, predict and assess risks; good interpersonal, communication, planning, control and analytical skills; knowledge of personnel selection processes; customer orientation; state language education or state language skills corresponding to Level C 1st degree; ability to work with computers (MS Word, Excel) and office equipment; excellent business communication skills verbally and in writing; an e-signature tool is required for the performance of job duties. Main job responsibilities: assess the compliance of job vacancy announcements submitted by employers with regulatory requirements, the sufficiency of information for a complete understanding of the job offer and application procedures; if necessary, provide recommendations for improving the announcement; register vacancies in the Unemployment Registry and Registered Vacancies Information System; provide individualized support to employers in attracting necessary workforce by consulting and offering effective solutions for filling vacant positions; ensure unemployed and job seekers receive information about suitable vacancies and application procedures; organize meetings between employers and job seekers in person and online; organize seminars to inform employers about Agency services and opportunities to participate in active employment measures; consult employers on the use of the CV and Vacancies Portal (CVVP), including granting company employees administrator rights for CVVP vacancy registration; inform employers and employees at risk of unemployment about Agency services in case of mass dismissals, and provide necessary support services; ensure sustainable cooperation with local employer organizations. The selection competition will take place in three rounds: First round - evaluation of candidates' education and work experience based on submitted documents. Second round – practical tasks, the results of which will assess the candidate's professional knowledge. Third round – an interview that includes a presentation prepared by the job candidate, during which the candidate's knowledge and competencies will be assessed in accordance with the requirements set for the position. Candidates who achieve the highest score in the practical assignment will be invited to the interview. The Agency requests that candidates, when applying for participation in the selection competition, do not provide additional data, including special category personal data, that is not necessary to assess the candidate's suitability for the specific vacancy. If a candidate provides personal data that is not necessary within the scope of the selection process, it is considered that the candidate has consented to the processing of such personal data.
