The State Employment Agency (hereinafter - the Agency) announces a competition for a vacant civil servant position Employment Organizer Saldus Branch (1 position for an indefinite period) Objective of the vacant position: Build and develop cooperation with employers, provide support to employers in filling vacant positions. Requirements for candidates: Compliance with the requirements of Section 7 of the State Civil Service Law; Academic higher education or second-level professional higher education (preferably in social sciences); At least one year of experience in client consultation; At least one year of work experience in business communication and correspondence; Understanding of state employment policy and knowledge of applicable regulatory acts in force in the Republic of Latvia; Ability to evaluate facts, anticipate and assess risks; Good interpersonal, communication, planning, monitoring, and analytical skills; Knowledge of the personnel selection process; Education obtained in the state language or state language proficiency corresponding to Level C1, Part 1; Knowledge of one foreign language at conversational level to ensure communication with foreign clients; Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills in oral and written form; Ability to evaluate facts, anticipate and assess risks; Good planning and self-control skills; Very good computer skills (MS Word, Excel) and office equipment operation; An e-signature tool is necessary for the performance of job duties. Main job responsibilities: Evaluate the compliance of a job posting submitted by an employer with regulatory requirements, the sufficiency of information for a complete understanding of the job offer and application procedure, and provide recommendations for improving the posting if necessary; Register vacancies in the Unemployment Records and Registered Vacancies Information System (hereinafter – BURVIS); Provide an opinion allowing or refusing the engagement of a foreigner to fill a vacant position; Provide individualized support to employers in attracting necessary workforce, by consulting and offering effective solutions for filling vacant positions; Provide individualized support to employers in attracting necessary workforce, by consulting and offering effective solutions for filling vacant positions; Provide the unemployed and job seekers with information about suitable vacancies and application procedures; Organize in-person and online meetings between employers and job seekers; Organize seminars to inform about the Agency's services to employers and opportunities to participate in active employment measures; Consult employers on the use of the CV and Vacancies Portal (CVVP), including granting administrator rights to company employees for vacancy registration on CVVP; Inform employers and employees at risk of unemployment about the Agency's services in the event of mass layoffs. Provide necessary support services; Ensure sustainable cooperation with local employer organizations. Within one week after the deadline of the announcement, we will contact candidates who will be selected for the second round of personnel selection. The selection competition will take place in three rounds: First round - evaluation of candidates' education and work experience based on submitted documents. Second round – practical tasks, based on the results of which the candidate's professional knowledge will be evaluated. Third round – an interview including a presentation submitted by the job candidate, during which the candidate's knowledge and competencies will be evaluated in accordance with the requirements set for the position. Candidates who achieve the highest number of points on the practical task will be invited to the interview. The Agency asks candidates, when applying to participate in the selection competition, not to provide additional data, including special category personal data, that are not necessary to evaluate the candidate's compliance with the specific vacancy. If a candidate submits personal data that is not necessary within the scope of the selection process, it is considered that the candidate has consented to the processing of such personal data.
