IES in Landskrona opened in 2017 and is an F-9 school. Nearly 600 students and 70 staff members meet here daily. We are a bilingual school, English-Swedish, that follows the Swedish curriculum. This position is a permanent employment at 80%, with the possibility of 100% for those who wish full-time. The remaining 20% would consist of resource teacher support, primarily in mathematics. Start date is August 7, 2026, and we apply a 6-month probationary period.

We are now seeking an engaged teacher in Science (grades 4, 5, 7) and Technology (grade 5) who wants to motivate and challenge students in their learning. Together with your colleagues, you will plan and implement teaching that awakens curiosity, develops problem-solving skills, and creates a deeper understanding of everyday life. You will become an important part of our team and contribute to creating a safe and supportive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement inspiring pedagogical activities according to LGR22.
- Develop a positive learning environment where all students feel seen and heard.
- Collaborate with colleagues, guardians, and others to ensure students' holistic development.
- Document and monitor students' individual learning processes.
- Teach in both Swedish and English. Mentor 16 students in grade 4

You are:
- A certified teacher with qualifications in Science and Technology.
- Pedagogical and creative in your work with students.
- Empathetic and attentive to students' individual needs and development.
- Committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student has the opportunity to grow.
- Have experience working with pedagogical documentation.
- Have excellent knowledge of the curriculum.
- You communicate directly and humbly and build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You need to be a team player, have a high work ethic, and enjoy working with people in an international school environment.
