Raoul Wallenbergskolan Lidköping is now hiring a Science Teacher. The position is full-time starting fall term 2026. Raoul Wallenbergskolan is an independent school organization whose operations are characterized by the core values of honesty, compassion, courage, and initiative. The school in Lidköping opened in 2022 and is a middle school serving grades 7–9. We are located in newly renovated facilities in the old Rörstrand district and have built an operation with clear structures, academic focus, and a positive classroom climate. The school leadership has been with the school since its opening and has extensive experience leading school development with quality and stability. Your Responsibilities You will teach Science and possibly Technology in grades 7–9. The role includes planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction as well as mentoring. We work closely in subject teams where we collaborate on both planning and assessment. We have established structures for collegial learning and school leadership that is actively present in the operations. You will have a secure framework to work within and at the same time the opportunity to gradually develop your own pedagogical profile. The school features the Mathivation initiative, which aims to spark students' curiosity about mathematics, programming, and problem-solving through real-world approaches and collaborations with business and academia. Your Profile We welcome you if you are a certified teacher with credentials to teach Science or equivalent relevant experience. You have solid subject knowledge and a clear desire to develop in your teaching role. For us, it is more important that you have the right drive and attitude than many years of experience. You are organized and want to plan your instruction based on the curriculum. At the same time, you are curious and open to developing your didactics together with colleagues. You see collaboration as an integral part of the profession and appreciate co-planning, discussing assessment, and reflecting on the quality of instruction. As a classroom leader, you strive for clarity, safety, and high expectations. You meet students with respect and warmth and keep the student's long-term development in focus.
