Career Development NEXT (Norconsult Expert Program) is designed for you who have at least five years of industry experience and want to strengthen both your technical expertise and your ability to lead, influence, and collaborate in complex projects. For two years, you will participate in a structured development program featuring technical specialist modules, leadership training, and knowledge exchange with experienced colleagues from across Norconsult. You'll have the opportunity to develop alongside some of our leading experts while building valuable relationships across technical disciplines and borders. The program consists of eight modules with two training days per quarter. We are seeking future colleagues for Stockholm, Ludvika, Gothenburg, Örebro, Uppsala, Östersund, or Sundsvall. Your Profile For the Water Engineering positions in our Development Program, we are looking for technical leaders in hydropower, dams, and water environment. You participate in investigations and design work, from feasibility studies to detailed design, where you have the opportunity to mentor and share your knowledge with junior and experienced colleagues. Your background can vary, but you have a relevant university or college degree and at least 5 years of experience working with hydropower or dams. You are a future industry leader and are now ready for the next step in your professional career. You are an experienced and motivated investigator or designer, and ideally have completed the 2-week course on Dams and Dam Safety. Experience with BIM is a plus, as more and more projects are moving toward a model-oriented approach rather than traditional 2D deliverables. Since you will collaborate with multiple disciplines and areas of expertise, it is important that you have strong communication and collaboration skills. You enjoy seeing others develop and value a humble approach. You have a good understanding of the consulting business and are driven to contribute to our creative and solution-oriented company culture.
