JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Want to help build the data center of the future? We're looking for a committed and technically driven network technician who wants to work with modern networking solutions within Software Defined Networking (SDN), virtualization, and data center infrastructure. With us, you'll have the opportunity to develop and manage a mission-critical platform where VMware NSX and Data Fabric are central components. As a network technician, you will work with design, operations, development, and troubleshooting of our network and data center platform. You'll be an important part of a team responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and performance in a complex and modern IT environment. QUALIFICATIONS You should have: • Current work experience and at least 3 years of professional experience with advanced network operations in larger IT environments • Documented experience and knowledge of routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN are desirable) • At least 2 years of current professional experience with VMware NSX-T or NSX • Documented experience and strong knowledge of data center networking and virtualized environments • Work experience with automation using, for example, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible It's desirable if you have: • Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) • Experience with Aria Suite • Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms • Experience with Zero Trust architecture and microsegmentation • Knowledge of documenting, analyzing, and solving complex technical problems We're looking for someone who is curious and has a genuine passion for technology, with a strong desire to develop and contribute to improvements in the technical environment. You have good problem-solving skills and are proactive, which means you drive your work forward independently. You have a structured work approach and are driven to continuously develop both yourself and the technical environment, while working goal- and results-oriented to ensure high quality in your deliverables. The role requires you to be self-directed and take responsibility for your tasks from start to finish. At the same time, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team, where you contribute to positive cooperation and shared results. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment type: Permanent position. This position is located in the IT/IOS/DC section in Örebro. Depending on operational circumstances, there is an opportunity to work from home part of the time. The position is permanent and typically begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date to be agreed upon.
