About the job As a Network Architect with us, you will help develop future network solutions for the Swedish Tax Agency and several other government agencies. You are part of an agile team with experienced network specialists and architects. The team is responsible for developing the physical and logical network within data centers and access networks. Our solutions form the foundation of the Swedish Tax Agency's IT infrastructure and are essential for the agency's services to function securely and stably. In this role, you work both strategically and operatively to develop and further enhance network solutions and technical platforms. You are responsible for planning and implementing lifecycle management within your area as well as designing, implementing, and verifying new solutions. The work involves close collaboration with suppliers, partners, and adjacent technical areas to ensure efficient and sustainable deliveries. You also contribute to standardization and long-term development within the networking field to create a stable, secure, and future-proof infrastructure. Right now we are facing several major development initiatives. We are modernizing our office networks where Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA) is being gradually introduced throughout the environment and simultaneously building the next generation of data centers to meet future needs. This gives you the opportunity to be involved in developing some of the Swedish Tax Agency's most central network environments. Experience with wireless networks and network-based access control solutions is particularly interesting to us. About you To do a good job and thrive with us at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be attentive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. You should also have: several years of current and relevant work experience in the networking field, including experience with Cisco-based network solutions relevant work experience in designing, implementing, further developing, and optimizing network infrastructure in larger organizations relevant work experience in network architecture and translating business and technical needs into technical solutions relevant work experience in driving technical initiatives It is desirable to have relevant work experience in design, implementation, further development, and optimization within one or more of the following areas: network segmentation at different levels large wireless networks, including radio planning with Ekahau network-based access control (NAC) access networks in larger organizations Good to know Due to the vacation period, the recruiting manager has limited ability to answer questions until week 34. Employment with us may involve placement in a security clearance level.
