Västerbo Social Omsorg is recruiting staff for awake night shifts About Us Västerbo Social Omsorg operates residential care homes, supported housing, outpatient services, and foster care for children and youth who need support, security, and guidance in their daily lives. Now we are looking for you to join our team and contribute to security and continuity during the night hours. About the Position As night staff, you are responsible for creating security and safety for young people and staff when regular operations are closed. You work across our different residential care homes and supported housing facilities and play an important role in ensuring that operations run smoothly at night. Responsibilities: • Conduct supervision and security rounds at our facilities • Support young people and staff as needed during the night • Handle alarms and unexpected situations • Document incidents according to established procedures • Collaborate with colleagues and on-call functions • Contribute to a safe, secure, and stable environment for the young people About You • Are a social pedagogue or have equivalent education • Are confident, responsible, and have good self-awareness • Can work independently and make well-founded decisions • Have a professional and respectful approach • Are flexible and solution-oriented • Have strong ability to build trusting relationships • Speak and write Swedish well Qualifications • Post-secondary education in social work, behavioral science, social pedagogy, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer is a merit • Experience working with young people is a merit • Experience in residential care homes, supported housing, or other social services is a merit • A valid driver's license is required as the position involves travel between our facilities We Offer • Meaningful work where you make a real difference for young people • Independent and varied work • Support from engaged colleagues and supervisors • Opportunity to develop within social care and treatment work • Development opportunities through skills enhancement • Good introduction and clarity regarding Västerbo's values Welcome to apply to Västerbo Social Omsorg.
