We are seeking a dedicated nursing assistant who wants to help create a safe and dignified night for our elderly residents. As a nursing assistant with us, you safeguard our residents' self-determination, integrity, and participation, so that the resident can feel well-being. We work together to provide the elderly with a meaningful and stimulating daily life. You can expect varied tasks; helping to break the night fast, dressing and undressing, mobility assistance, personal hygiene, and accompaniment. Service tasks include laundry, changing linens, and cleaning. Documenting the care and support you provide is an important part of daily work. The position also includes performing certain health and medical care tasks on delegation. Your profile We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant or is studying to become one. Previous experience from work in a special residential facility is advantageous, as is knowledge and/or experience working with people with dementia. You are accustomed to working with digital tools such as mobile phones, computers, or tablets and possess good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, so you can document the care you provide and communicate with our residents. Since some work tasks require good physical fitness, it is important that this requirement is also met. We expect you to have personal maturity and be both self-directed and service-oriented. You take responsibility, are flexible, and can handle stressful situations. You are resourceful and responsive to residents' needs and show respect for other people. You work well with residents, family members, colleagues, and other staff. About the workplace Edshultsgården is a special residential facility for people with dementia where safety, care, and quality permeate everything we do. The facility consists of nine units and houses a total of 74 places, including one unit focused on somatic issues. We work in teams with broad expertise and shared commitment to our residents. To ensure high quality in care, we have support from roles such as quality manager, meal coordinator, and activity coordinator. Together we create a meaningful and stimulating daily life – where each individual is seen, heard, and respected.
