Närakut Järva is seeking an experienced specialist physician in general medicine or emergency care who wants to help develop the Närakut care level in Stockholm. Our mission is to provide emergency care for children and adults who do not require the resources of an emergency hospital. Our hours are 8–22, the clinic operates on a drop-in basis, and we work interprofessionally in teams. Our operations are based on emergency care principles, providing a wide variety of different patient groups. We also have an important and substantial educational mission, including supervision of students, for our future colleagues. Main responsibilities: Care for acutely ill patients who do not require emergency hospital resources Qualifications: We seek licensed physicians with specialist certification in general medicine or emergency care. Swedish C is required. Personal qualities: You are driven, flexible, unpretentious, and enjoy collaboration. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Employment type: Permanent position or hourly employment. Service primarily during daytime/weekdays. The position will be filled provided it is not needed for internal redeployment in accordance with applicable regulations. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County healthcare: - A criminal background check will be conducted prior to employment decision in accordance with SLSO's general instructions for background checks in hiring - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a health examination, in accordance with current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment - In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required, corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
