Responsibilities As Board Secretary, you are the hub of the board process and an important link between administration management, case officers, and elected officials. You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring quality throughout the entire case workflow—from preparation to decision and follow-up—in accordance with laws and governing documents. Your main responsibilities include: - Coordination of board administration and case processes - Case registration, preparation, meeting notices, and minutes - Preparation, facilitation, and follow-up of board and presidium meetings - Expediting, release of documents, and filing - Fee management for elected officials - Support to managers and case officers in case preparation You also participate in the municipality's network for registrars and board secretaries, and can contribute to investigative assignments when needed. Your role also includes a communications assignment where you, together with the administration's communicator, drive and develop our communication efforts. You work with: - Planning, implementing, and following up on internal and external communication - Contributing a communications perspective to organizational matters - Developing quality and approaches in communication - Publishing content in various channels, internally and externally - Creating simple graphic design Qualifications - You hold a relevant university degree, for example in political science, media and communications science, or another field, and/or work experience that the employer considers equivalent - We expect that you have experience in board administration and/or legal work in public administration. You have good knowledge of municipal and administrative law as well as public access and confidentiality regulations. You are organized, meticulous, and able to handle multiple parallel tasks. You are self-driven and have the ability to drive and develop your work.
