Our vision and goals are aimed at providing the highest quality care, where the patient is always the focus. We offer healthcare locally and regionally, as well as highly specialized care to patients throughout the country and abroad. Our employees are our strength and they contribute to knowledge exchanges nationally and internationally. With digital tools and new ways of working, we can simplify daily operations at the hospital and provide modern, accessible, and efficient care of the highest quality. Description The Office and Sustainability Department is part of the hospital director's staff and shared administration. The department is divided into office and legal services, sustainability, archives and information structure, and medical records management. The department provides important support to hospital management in handling and supporting operations on operational matters. The department's shared mission is to lead and coordinate the hospital's work within each area of responsibility and to conduct strategic, hospital-wide development work to achieve the goal of becoming Europe's leading university hospital. We are looking for someone who wants to take on a central and meaningful role as a committee coordinator. Duties In your role as committee coordinator, you have a central role in coordinating, quality-assuring, and developing the case processing for the hospital's board. You work closely with both administrative staff and political leadership and contribute to creating well-functioning processes with high quality throughout the decision-making process. You ensure that cases are handled correctly throughout the process – from preparation and notification to political treatment, conducting meetings, and subsequent protocol management. In this role, you are responsible for all handling before and after board meetings. This includes planning and administering meetings, preparing notifications, quality-assuring decision-making documents, writing protocols, and coordinating follow-up work. You are also responsible for case monitoring and provide qualified support to operations on matters concerning case and decision-making processes. The committee coordinator is important support to operations and helps ensure legally compliant, efficient, and well-functioning case handling. The role involves providing guidance on matters concerning decision pathways and case preparation, as well as supporting operations on municipal law and administrative law matters. The role also includes development work and environmental monitoring within the area. You actively participate in developing and improving routines, working methods, and processes, and contribute to ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations, and regional guidelines. Furthermore, you participate in both the department's internal development work and shared regional development initiatives and networks. This role is suitable for you if you thrive in a coordinating function with many contact points and have a strong interest in public administration, political processes, and quality development. Qualifications We are looking for someone with relevant academic education, for example in public administration, law, political science, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have good understanding of digital tools and systems, and preferably experience working within public sector or politically governed organizations. Experience working as a municipal secretary, committee secretary, or similar is a requirement, as is good knowledge of the laws and regulations governing public sector operations. To succeed well in this role, we believe you are comfortable working in digital environments and have very good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. We place great importance on your personal qualities. To succeed in this role, we see that you are structured and thorough, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and drive your work forward. You are flexible and solution-oriented, and find it easy to handle multiple parallel tasks while quickly switching between planned and event-driven activities.
