Daugavpils State City Municipality Institution "Social Service" invites applications for HANDYMAN for work at Daugavpils Social Care Center (fixed-term position) Key Responsibilities: Install wooden or drywall partitions and ceilings, wooden floors, lay linoleum and tiles; mount and replace doors, windows and sills; perform building and room repairs by dismantling damaged or worn elements and replacing them with new ones; perform decorative painting, varnishing and restoration work on walls, floors, ceilings and outdoor areas; assess defects and damage, calculate the quantity of materials needed for repairs and submit material requests to the manager. Requirements for Candidates: basic or secondary level professional education, vocational training; Latvian language proficiency at level A, stage 2; health status in compliance with requirements set by the Cabinet of Ministers (Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 219 of 10.03.2009 "Procedure for Mandatory Health Examination"); knowledge of materials, their compatibility, and suitability for the intended application; ability to work in a team; high sense of responsibility, precision.
