DUTIES Work as a government case officer within the group involves handling and investigating economic assistance, intimate partner violence, harmful use and addiction, social psychiatry, and LSS. Within adult case management, daily work is led by a coordinator and consists of two work teams. Economic assistance consists of four and the adult group consists of three case officers. The Social Services authority unit comprises all authority functions jointly with good conditions for close collaboration. The position will be a combined role within these areas to strengthen the teams. In the adult group, one of the case officers will project lead work on intimate partner violence at 50% and within economic assistance, work is underway to prepare for the legislative change regarding activity requirements that takes effect 2026-07-01. We work together and actively to find sustainable solutions for those we meet. Internal and external collaboration is important to us as we know it leads to better solutions for our users. We know that a prerequisite for maintaining high quality in the operations we conduct is that employees receive the right support and sufficient time for each case. We offer case supervision together with the coordinator every week and as needed. Within the unit there are system administrators who provide support in our Lifecare business management system. We also have external supervision. We are now making a major investment in working with AI as documentation support linked to our business management system that we implemented in the spring. During the previous year, stronger collaboration with the municipality's employment unit has been implemented with a focus on moving individuals toward self-sufficiency together. With the new law regarding activity requirements that takes effect 2026-07-01, we are preparing that work through close collaboration with the employment unit to comply with the legal requirements. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a degree from a social work program or other higher education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience working in social services and economic assistance is considered meritorious. We are looking for you who have the ability to understand other people's perspectives and situations and have the ability to coach and motivate people toward change. You are communicative, clear, attentive to your counterpart, and have the ability to formulate information or messages so that everyone understands. You are empathetic and confident and choose to contribute to a good work environment. We are looking for you who consider yourself responsible and work in a structured and systematic manner. B-class driver's license is a requirement. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
