The Military Intelligence and Security Service (MUST) conducts defense intelligence activities and military intelligence and security services to support Swedish foreign, defense and security policy as well as for mapping external threats to Sweden. About the unit MUST Intelligence Office is responsible for the collection, processing, analysis and dissemination of intelligence regarding external threats to Sweden and Swedish interests. The work takes place in close cooperation with other functions within MUST and the Swedish Armed Forces as well as external authorities. Main responsibilities As an AI developer, you will be part of a team working closely with the department's domain specialists in space, geospatial analysis and strategic intelligence. Common areas of responsibility: New development of business-related software programs with short lead times Design of new tools and working methods based on user requirements and wishes Database modeling and optimization Development of AI support in operations Qualifications Experience with programming in Python or similar. Experience with databases, for example SQL or similar database technologies. Meritorious Other skills that may also be of interest: Academic degree in computer science or systems science. Experience using machine learning (ML), for example in text, image or video processing. Experience building robust IT services. Good knowledge of Linux and Windows. Experience with container and orchestration technologies. Experience using AI (e.g. LLMs) in new and creative ways.
