Job Description
As an MTIT Manager, you provide operations-focused support to leadership and operations teams on matters concerning technology, medical technology, and digitalization. You contribute with a holistic perspective and help the organization identify needs, evaluate opportunities, and create conditions for well-founded decisions. The role complements existing collaboration forms and contact points between the organization and the Centre for Medical Technology and IT (CMIT).
The MTIT Manager role exists within all centers in Region Östergötland. The assignment is relatively new and continues to evolve. That's why we're looking for you to contribute to developing work methods, collaboration, and how MTIT support creates value for the organization.
In the role, you will, among other things:
- Support the organization's managers, leadership teams, and employees on matters within technology, medical technology, and digitalization.
- Identify, analyze, and describe the organization's needs.
- Provide advice and support for prioritizations and decisions.
- Communicate knowledge about CMIT's services, solutions, and opportunities.
- Create conditions for effective information exchange between the organization and CMIT.
- Monitor the external environment and identify opportunities where technology and digitalization can support the organization's goals.
- Contribute to coordination and a holistic perspective on matters affecting multiple organizations or service areas.
Work Group
You are organizationally placed within the Centre for Medical Technology and IT (CMIT), the Unit for Technical Support and Coordination, but work on behalf of a production unit within healthcare. The role is part of the production unit's management forum based on the organization's needs.
You work closely with center management, operations managers, development functions, and other support functions. You also collaborate with service owners, administration, specialist functions, and other MTIT Managers within Region Östergötland. The role involves many contact points and close collaboration across organizational boundaries.

You have:
- Upper secondary education.
- Good communication skills.
- Good analytical skills and a structured work approach.
- Ability to build and develop relationships and networks.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive issues forward.
- Ability to create alignment, engagement, and momentum through collaboration with others.
It is a merit if you have:
- Experience from healthcare or other complex operations.
- Knowledge of Region Östergötland's organization and work methods.
- Knowledge of technology, medical technology, and digitalization.
- Experience in development, change, and improvement work.
