As an MT Security Strategist, you will become a key person in driving, coordinating, and following up on the region's medical technology security efforts. You will work closely with technology, operations, legal, and procurement to ensure that our medical technology systems always meet applicable requirements, standards, and regulations. We are looking for We are looking for someone with relevant higher education or university degree, for example as a biomedical engineer, lawyer, or equivalent, or alternatively other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have several years of experience working with quality assurance, risk management, or management systems. You have experience working systematically with quality and security issues and are accustomed to collaborating with different functions within an organization. You have a strong ability to communicate and cooperate with different departments and professional groups. The position is placed in a security classification, which means that Swedish citizenship and approved security clearance are requirements. It is meritorious if you have knowledge of cybersecurity related to medical technology products and network-connected medical devices, as well as knowledge of the EU medical technology regulations (MDR 2017/745). Experience with relevant standards, such as ISO 14971, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485, is also meritorious. Furthermore, it is viewed as positive if you have experience working with NIS2, CER, or regional security protection work, as well as experience working in larger organizations or within the public sector. Experience with supervisory or regulatory work, for example related to the Medical Products Agency, as well as driving training initiatives and change management is also meritorious. What you will work with In the role, you will drive, develop, and follow up on the region's strategic work within medical technology security. You are responsible for ensuring that processes and management systems within medical technology are current and comply with applicable legislation and regulations. You will serve as an expert in procurements, risk analyses, and in certain deviation investigations, and contribute your expertise in complex issues related to medical technology security aspects. An important part of the assignment is also to train and support the organization in medical technology security issues and contribute to increased knowledge and compliance in the organization. The role involves participating in national networks within medical technology security and serving as a contact person toward authorities in relevant matters. You also actively contribute to the region's work with quality assurance and risk management, as well as to continuous development of working methods and procedures in the field. Start date is by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. The position is placed in a security classification, which means that security clearance will be conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) and Security Protection Ordinance (2018:658).
