Early Morning and Caring Assistant Needed for an Active and Joyful Senior

We are looking for an experienced, independent, and dedicated nurse who wants to make a real difference in another person's daily life. About the Role Working hours: by agreement, approximately 2 days per week, approximately 4 hours per occasion. Suggested working hours: 08:00–12:00 Schedule: every other weekend plus two weekdays the following week, preferred. Location: scenic area in Upplands Väsby Since it is difficult to reach this location by public transportation, you need to have a driver's license and access to a car. A driver's license may also be required as part of the job. Job Description – Nurse or Nursing Assistant As a nurse in this role, you will work closely with an experienced and positive person in their home environment, focusing on creating security, independence, and quality of life in daily life. The work is varied and combines medical responsibility with practical and social support. Your main tasks include assisting with daily morning routines. You will also help with nutritious meals and lighter household tasks to ensure a functioning and pleasant home environment. The role also includes accompanying the person on activities and doctor's visits and actively contributing to preventing social isolation through conversation and social presence. An important part of the work is ensuring that prescribed medications are taken correctly and assisting with medication administration according to current guidelines. You will also support and motivate regular physical activity, as the person lives with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, which causes some stiffness and requires daily activation as well as training several times a week. You will work in an environment where interests such as exercise, culture, literature, and social issues are a natural part of daily life. It is therefore important that you are attentive and engaged in creating a meaningful and stimulating life. The home also has a friendly dog, so it is positive if you are comfortable around animals. Qualifications We are looking for a nurse with at least three years of professional experience. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to work independently with great responsibility. As a person, you are empathetic, patient, and have a professional approach in both physical and emotional care situations. You have good communication skills, are flexible in your work approach, and have a genuine commitment to contributing to other people's well-being and social life. The role requires very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good physical ability. Experience with similar tasks is a merit. Furthermore, you are punctual, take initiative, and actively contribute to creating a safe, stable, and positive environment for the person you work with.
