IMD Sverige works with individual metering and billing of water, heating, and other utilities. The company sells, installs, and services metering solutions for properties and works primarily with municipalities, housing associations, and other property owners.
The company has approximately 25 employees and is in an exciting growth phase with several major installation projects underway across the country.
Job Responsibilities
In your role as Installation Assistant, you will be part of a project installing water meters in residential properties around Gothenburg. Working alongside experienced plumbing technicians, you will be responsible for preparing and restoring work areas in apartments where installations are carried out. You play an important role in ensuring the project runs efficiently, smoothly, and with high quality.
As an Installation Assistant, you will:
- Prepare work areas for water meter installation
- Disassemble and reassemble toilets and associated equipment
- Cut openings according to provided measurements/drawings
- Install inspection covers
- Restore work areas after completing installations
- Document work through before and after photos
- Handle documentation in the company's work order system
- Work closely with plumbing technicians and project management
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
- B-class driver's license
- Good Swedish language skills
- Experience using mobile phones or digital tools for documentation
- Merits: Experience from construction, property, trades, or installation
- Merits: Construction training or similar background
We are looking for someone who is practical and enjoys working with their hands. You don't need extensive experience in construction or installation, but you should have an interest in practical work and not be afraid to take initiative. To succeed in this role, you are self-directed and action-oriented, comfortable taking initiative and getting things done. You are flexible in your work approach, adapt to different situations, and work well collaborating with both colleagues and customers.

Salary: According to agreement
