About the Position As an assembly technician for our client in the automotive industry, you will be responsible for assembling vehicle components with a focus on precision and quality. The role involves practical work where certain tasks may be physically demanding, so it's important that you enjoy active work and are comfortable with hands-on tasks when needed. You'll become part of a team where collaboration and continuous improvement are natural parts of everyday work. Here, ideas and initiatives are valued regardless of where they come from in the organization – and you'll have the opportunity to influence both work methods and results. For the right person, there are also excellent opportunities for development and growth within the company. This is a full-time position involving a 6-month fixed-term contract where you'll work either regular day shifts or regular evening shifts, with interviews ongoing. A Typical Day as an Assembly Technician You start your shift with the team, reviewing the day's goals and following up on yesterday's results. The team leader distributes the work and checks if there are any new improvement suggestions to test. Throughout the day, you assemble vehicle components at a steady pace, with a focus on quality and precision. The work is varied and alternates between different tasks. When something can be done better, more simply, or more smartly, you bring it up – and often the team tests new solutions directly. It's a workplace where people ask questions, help each other, and learn from one another. When the day ends, you know what you've accomplished, together. About You We're looking for an engaged and responsible team player who thrives in an environment where people help each other. You are thorough in your work and have the ability to work at a good pace without compromising quality. You enjoy working with others and contribute to an inclusive work environment where different perspectives are seen as a strength. We especially welcome you if you want to develop within the industry – whether you have extensive experience or are just starting your career journey. It's important that you speak and write Swedish fluently. Previous experience as an assembly technician or similar is a merit, but your attitude and willingness to learn are equally important. If you're also flexible, punctual, and enjoy social settings, you'll be a great fit for this role. At Adecco, we value equality and diversity and actively work toward an inclusive job market. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds and experiences, placing great importance on personal suitability. A background check will be conducted on all final candidates in the recruitment process. Requirements for the Position - Passing grades in secondary education mathematics 1, Swedish 1, and English 5 - Thorough in your work - Good collaboration skills - Experience with physically demanding work - Strong Swedish language skills, both verbal and written Merits - Experience in industry or as an assembly technician - Experience working at a fast pace - Secondary education in automotive programs or equivalent Contact Information If you have questions or want to know more about the position, contact recruiting manager Alicia Ambroz at [email protected] If you have questions about your application or registration, contact our support at [email protected] We look forward to reading your application!
