Technician with IT Interest for Critical Infrastructure Operations in Boden

Do you want to combine practical installation work with modern IT and advanced technology? We are now looking for a technician with an interest in IT, networks, and technical systems for a long-term assignment within the defense sector. You will be employed as a consultant at MW Field Services and work in close collaboration with a leading supplier of defense and security technology as well as the Swedish Armed Forces. Here you will work with some of Sweden's most advanced communication and command systems in operations that contribute to the country's security and defense capabilities. About the role In your role as a technician, you will work closely with end customers on installation, integration, and commissioning of advanced technology in vehicles, command centers, and other technical platforms. Your responsibilities will include: Cable routing and installation of technical equipment Installation of communication and network equipment System commissioning and configuration Troubleshooting and verification of installations Documentation of completed work Collaboration with technicians, systems engineers, and customer representatives The work is varied and combines practical craftsmanship with modern IT technology. Requirements Class B driver's license Experience as a technician, installer, electrician, service technician, or other equivalent technical role Documented experience with IT, networks, or computers through work, education, or certification Good computer skills Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written Passed background check If you have experience from the Swedish Armed Forces, we consider that a merit.
