We are now seeking additional assembly managers mechanics for hydropower contracts in our Northern Sweden division. We will need more skilled employees in the hydropower segment in the coming years as we make an aggressive push, and we want you on our journey! We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in the assembly industry who wants to work on projects throughout northern Sweden. Offices are located in Sollefteå, Sundsvall, and Östersund, but other locations are also of interest. Job Responsibilities You will work in various constellations within a dynamic team consisting of assemblers, service technicians, engineers, and project managers. The work is very independent, varied, and self-directed with significant technical content. The position involves independently and together with others driving assembly of mechanical maintenance in hydropower, both large- and small-scale hydropower. As an assembly manager, you plan and lead large and smaller project assignments, but also actively participate in the work yourself. The role includes extensive direct customer contact. Your main responsibilities: • Participate in, lead, and coordinate all on-site activities related to installation, testing, and project completion • Perform assignments in a business-like and profitable manner • Support and assist colleagues with knowledge and expertise • Support the engineer in testing and troubleshooting • Lead inspections and compile and deliver documentation • You will either be home-based or work from one of our established locations, and the position involves travel to other areas. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with several years of work experience and experience managing larger assembly projects. You have good knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic equipment with associated auxiliary systems. Since you will work with assembly projects on both dams, intakes, turbines, and generators, we consider experience in these specific areas very desirable. Basically, you have completed upper secondary school, preferably in mechanical engineering with a focus on hydropower or equivalent experience. If you also have knowledge of the hydropower process or similar production operations with rotating machinery, as well as experience from the contracting industry, we also consider that desirable. Previous experience as an assembly manager is considered very desirable. To thrive with us, we believe you are someone who enjoys a leadership role where you and the team take great responsibility. In your role as assembly manager, it is therefore important that you exercise present and clear leadership. A strong safety mindset is also a given. You have good computer skills and experience working with ongoing planning and follow-up. A class B driver's license is required, and you must speak and write Swedish fluently.
