JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a native language teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction in the native language subject based on applicable curriculum documents. The work includes assessing and documenting each student's needs, knowledge, and abilities.
Your assignment as a study counselor in the native language involves supporting students in their development and learning in close collaboration with other staff at the schools. The work involves placement at several different schools during a work week and travel between schools within the municipality. The assignment requires collaboration with school principals and staff. The work also includes collaborating and developing work together with colleagues at the native language unit.
The teacher group has pedagogical conferences and study days together. You also have daily contact with school staff. The position requires that you have good language and IT skills and that you can integrate digital technology into your teaching.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who masters Spanish and Swedish in the school's various subjects and teaching situations. You structure and organize work based on curriculum documents and analyze and document students' abilities and knowledge.
It is naturally highly advantageous if you as an applicant are qualified to teach native language through Swedish teacher education or validated teacher education.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Prior to a possible employment, a language test may be appropriate to assess your knowledge of the Swedish language. Experience working with digital learning tools is a necessity to succeed in this assignment.
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: By agreement.
To begin working in preschools, schools, after-school centers, and other educational activities, you must provide a certificate from the crime register. The certificate is valid for one year and is ordered from the National Police Board www.polisen.se.
Anyone who has not provided a certificate from the crime register may not be employed, engaged, or admitted to the activity according to applicable legal requirements.
