Do you want to be part of our journey? About the Language Center. Native language teachers and study guides in Ängelholm Municipality are organized under the Language Center. Native language instruction takes place in the municipality's primary schools and upper secondary school. Study guidance is ordered based on school needs and is conducted at various school units in the municipality. 1 position(s). DUTIES We are looking for you to work as a native language teacher in Spanish. Your duties as a native language teacher include teaching students in their native language according to the school's governing documents. From grade 6 onwards, you assess the student according to the subject's knowledge requirements. As a teacher, you shall actively work with values-based education according to our curricula. Assessment of the student's knowledge may be part of the work with students. Testing within the native language may also be included. As a native language teacher, your duties may also include study guidance in the native language. As a study guide, you work in collaboration with students' other teachers and pedagogues to guide newly arrived students according to course plans and knowledge requirements in all subjects at the school. When needed, you also assist with translation during student meetings and in conveying information between school and student/home. You are expected to take an active part in daily work and contribute to the work team's and students' development to achieve higher goal fulfillment. You must be well versed in the school's governing documents and be able to apply them to practical work. Flexibility is of great importance as schedules and student enrollment may change during the term. Teaching takes place at various schools in Ängelholm Municipality. QUALIFICATIONS We would like you to have a teaching degree and good skills in Swedish both orally and in writing. Very good skills orally and in writing in your native language are a requirement. Since the work takes place at many different school units, you need good collaboration skills and find it easy to build contacts. You are expected to take an active part in development work regarding native language instruction and study guidance via the Language Center. You have good computer skills. Driver's license and own car are required. The position is 50% part-time. Interviews and hiring will take place continuously during the application period. Employment type: Permanent position.
