About the position The Unit for Native Languages and Reception of Newly Arrived Students receives newly arrived students, organizes study guidance in the native language, and provides native language instruction for approximately 1900 students from municipal and independent primary schools and upper secondary schools in Täby Municipality. We work professionally with the student at the center, guided by the democratic values of Swedish schools. With us, you can make a difference. Your responsibilities include being a link between the home, school, and the unit. You use your native language when teaching the native language and in study guidance. You participate in the reception meeting when we meet newly arrived students. As a native language teacher, you will travel to different schools. It is possible to travel by municipal transportation between schools, but having access to your own car makes travel easier. Who are you? We want you to: have Spanish as your native language express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing have teacher training or higher education have experience in bilingual instruction be well acquainted with curriculum documents that apply to instruction and be able to implement these into meaningful learning As a person, you are responsible, organized, have a holistic perspective, and demonstrate professional conduct. With commitment and the ability to work independently and in groups, you find solutions to provide instruction for all your students under current conditions. We use digital tools in our work, and we would like to see that you are curious and comfortable with IT. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and collaboration skills.
