Eslöv Municipality offers mother tongue instruction for students from grade 1 through upper secondary school. Teaching is provided in 25 different languages and aims to support students' language development, strengthen their cultural identity, and equip them with tools to succeed both in school and in life. Mother tongue instruction is available at several schools and units throughout the municipality.
Your Assignment
The position is a fixed-term employment for the period August 13, 2026–January 6, 2027, with possible extension at 7.5%, and your work tasks will include:
Plan, document, and conduct instruction in Meänkieli as a mother tongue
Provide study guidance and follow up on student learning
Collaborate with educators and contribute to mapping student needs and development
Maintain close contact and collaboration with students, guardians, and colleagues
Your Experience
Very good proficiency in Meänkieli
Digital competence to conduct instruction
Experience as a mother tongue teacher or study guide in Meänkieli
B-class driver's license is required, and personal vehicle is a plus
Desirable if you:
Hold a teaching degree with authorization to teach mother tongue
Have good knowledge of school curricula and can translate them into practical instruction

Salary between 32,000 - 39,400 kr depending on experience and responsibility. The final salary is determined individually and is based on a comprehensive assessment of your educational background, previous experience, and the area in which you have worked previously.
