Finnish Native Language Teacher - In-Person and Remote Teaching

Do you want to contribute to students' language development and learning? We at Linguista are now looking for a Finnish native language teacher for in-person and remote teaching at primary and/or secondary school level. About the role As a native language teacher with us, you plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on the curriculum and students' different prerequisites. You encourage students' curiosity and support them in their learning and development. In this role, you will: plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching monitor students' knowledge development and adapt teaching to their needs work on language development with a formative approach create motivation and engagement in teaching contribute to pedagogical development and your own professional development Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of the language in question and a genuine interest in students' learning. Since teaching takes place both through remote and in-person instruction, you need to be comfortable with digital working methods and be able to create structure and presence in the digital classroom as well. We would like to see that you: have teacher training or other relevant academic education have teaching experience good digital skills, for example in Google Workspace or similar good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It is an advantage if you have teacher certification and subject qualification as well as experience with remote teaching. Other information We apply collective agreements between Almega Utbildningsföretagen/Tjänsteförbunden and Unionen/SI. Before any employment, you need to be able to provide a valid extract from the disclosure of criminal record. Scope: Part-time Placement: Hybrid. The position requires you to be resident in Sweden.
