About the Unit: At the Integration and Language unit, we work with native language instruction and study guidance for all schools in the municipality, as well as reception of newly arrived students in the municipality's primary schools. Job Responsibilities: In your role as a native language teacher, you will plan, implement, and evaluate instruction according to the curriculum and course plan in native language. Teaching takes place on Wednesdays from 2:10 PM–5:00 PM divided into three lessons. The teacher teaches remotely from any location using Google Meet, and students remain at their home schools where supervisors are available. This position is 15%. Qualifications: Have the relevant language as your native language with documented good knowledge of Finnish. Have very good knowledge of the Swedish curriculum. Speak and write Swedish at a good academic level. Have experience teaching via remote instruction. Have experience in native language instruction. Are an experienced user of iPad/computers as well as Google Classroom and Google Meet. Meritorious if you have Swedish teacher certification and are qualified as a native language teacher in Finnish. The position is a permanent part-time role at 15% starting August 12 or by agreement. A trial period may be applied. If you lack Swedish teacher certification, the employment will instead be time-limited according to school law. We apply individual salary setting.
