Description You will work in the Learning sector in the Native Language Unit as a native language teacher in primary and secondary school according to the school's governing documents. Your base will be at Stenhamreskolan, but the assignment involves travel during work, as teaching takes place at the student's school placement. We use Schoolsoft and Google Classroom for planning and communication with students and guardians. Work Tasks You plan, teach, and assess in accordance with current curricula and collaborate with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment. You develop the educational activities to be interesting, inspiring, and challenging and you stay up to date. You create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You use digital tools to support teaching and development. Qualifications You hold a Swedish teaching degree or equivalent that the employer deems comparable. Experience working in and/or teaching in primary or secondary school. Your knowledge and abilities in Swedish and English must be sufficiently strong that you can express yourself in speech and writing at an academic level. The position requires flexibility and good collaboration skills. You should have good computer skills. A driver's license is required. We are looking for a native language teacher with high personal maturity, independence, and initiative. You are flexible and stable, can adapt teaching to changed circumstances, and deliver consistent results even under pressure. Good collaboration skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents are central, as is empathetic and clear verbal communication. You have cultural awareness, pedagogical insight, and can explain language and cultural aspects in a simple way. Leadership, clarity, and good judgment characterize your working approach, and you are organized, creative, and possess strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
