About the Residence Tuagården in Fränninge is located in a calm, rural setting near Sjöbo and is one of our 9 § 9 group homes for service users category 1 within Region Skåne. Currently, six people live in the service residence. Your Responsibilities With us, we communicate using sign language (which we offer in-house training for) or adapt our communication in other ways based on the individual's needs. You will be part of a team working together to ensure each individual has meaningful activities and daily routines. Your task is to support individuals in their daily lives and assist according to their needs. You will also support with everyday activities such as personal hygiene, repositioning or turning, medication administration as needed, documentation, and cleaning. You are also expected to participate in the individual's activities, such as day outings or other events. Altogether, your efforts enable the individual's right to independence and self-determination. About You We see that you have completed upper secondary education, preferably in care and welfare, childcare and recreation, or equivalent. Experience with challenging behaviors and knowledge of low-arousal approaches are merits. We appreciate experience in care and welfare and previous work with similar tasks. Knowledge of sign language, as well as understanding of disabilities and psychiatric experience are merits. As a person, you are considerate and value others' well-being. You genuinely care about and want to understand others' feelings and needs. You see possibilities in change and find solutions when situations evolve. You build relationships, create trust, and establish good cooperation with both individuals and colleagues. We believe you are reliable, persistent, and can meet both everyday routines and challenges with patience and thoughtfulness, while being confident in yourself and having good self-awareness. Since you will be documenting your work, you also need to have a strong command of the Swedish language. A driver's license is required. We apply individual salary determination, and start date is by agreement. A requirement for employment is that you can provide an extract from the suspicion and conviction register. Your working hours will include days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Before employment, we will conduct a citizenship check. You will need to provide a passport, national ID card, or certificate of identity. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also provide proof of a valid work permit or that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit according to the Aliens Ordinance chapter 6 § 13a.
