We are now seeking experienced and engaged staff members for our LSS operations in Enköping. Mo Gård provides services to individuals with combined disabilities with a focus on communication. Your responsibilities With us, we communicate using sign language (which we offer in-house training in) or adapt our communication in other ways based on the individual's needs. You will be part of a team working together so that each individual has a meaningful occupation and daily life. Your task is to provide support in the individual's daily life and assist based on their needs. You will also assist with everyday matters such as personal hygiene, medication if needed, and cleaning. You are expected to participate in the individual's activities, for example day trips or other events. Overall, your efforts enable the individual's right to independence and self-determination. About you We see that you have completed upper secondary education, preferably within care and welfare, children and leisure, or equivalent. Experience with challenging behaviors and knowledge of working with low-affective approaches is a merit. We would prefer that you have experience from care and welfare and that you have previously worked with similar tasks. Knowledge of sign language as well as knowledge of disabilities and experience from psychiatry are merits. As a person, you are thoughtful and value other people's well-being. You genuinely care about and want to understand other people's feelings and needs. You see possibilities in change and find solutions when situations change. You are relationship-building, create trust, and establish good cooperation with both individuals and colleagues. We believe that you are reliable, persistent, and can meet both everyday life and challenges with patience and thoughtfulness, while being confident in yourself and having good self-awareness. Since you document your work, you also need to have a good command of the Swedish language. Employment We offer a permanent position at 100 percent with a monthly salary by agreement and based on individual salary determination. We apply a 6-month probationary period and start date is by agreement. Your working hours will include daytime, evening, and weekends. A prerequisite for employment is that you can provide an extract from the criminal record register and the suspicion register and that you have a driver's license. As part of our recruitment process, we use problem-solving ability and personality tests. Before employment, we will check citizenship. You will need to present a passport, national ID card, or identity certificate. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also provide proof of a valid work permit or that you are exempt from the requirement of a work permit according to the Aliens Ordinance Chapter 6 §13a.
