About the Position As a developer within Runtime, you work with development, configuration, and integration of a runtime platform in various projects. The role is broad and varied, combining software development with configuration, integration, and automation in Linux environments. A large part of the work involves developing scripts and automating processes with Python and Bash, as well as ensuring that various system components work together. You work with troubleshooting, integration, and optimization of complex systems where stability and quality are crucial. Depending on the project, you may also work with: System and network configuration APIs and integrations Security and hardening, for example SELinux User management Some frontend-related development The role suits you if you enjoy working broadly within technology and appreciate variation in both tasks and technical challenges. Work takes place mainly on-site in customer-facing and security-classified environments, which means business travel may occur. We are Looking for You We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in software development and good experience working in Linux environments. We believe you have experience with: Linux Python and/or Bash Scripting and automation Configuration and integration of complex systems Troubleshooting in environments with many dependencies Experience with C or C++ is meritorious but not required, as it normally constitutes a smaller part of the role. You likely have a university or civil engineering degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent, or you have built up equivalent competence through work experience.
