We're looking for someone with several years of broad experience working as an environmental inspector who is seeking new challenges. Duties We are now seeking an inspector in environmental and health protection with solid expertise in environmentally hazardous activities. As an environmental inspector with us, you will have varied and developing work where you operate independently with significant personal responsibility. You plan and handle cases at customer locations and work as a regular employee. The assignment is varied in character and complexity and offers variation between field and office work. It is a merit if you have experience with several of the case management systems on the market, such as ECOS, Castor, and Vision. We consider it positive if you have experience in several of the traditional areas found in an environmental office. Work as a consultant at Public People is typically carried out for 3-6 months with one client at a time. We operate across the entire country, which means assignments are not always in the immediate vicinity of your hometown. The goal is always to assign our consultants work as close to home as possible, but the work may also involve longer travel distances and sometimes overnight stays in connection with assignments. Travel costs and any accommodation expenses arising from assignments are covered by the employer. Some work can generally be performed remotely. Qualifications · University degree as an environmental and health protection inspector or equivalent · Several years of experience working as an environmental inspector · Strong knowledge of environmental law, administrative law, and the exercise of authority · Experience working with oversight according to environmental law · Strong knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written · Requirement: B-class driving license To succeed in this role, you are responsive to your surroundings and professional in your interactions, and you enjoy working as a public official.
