DEPARTMENT OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT The Department of Urban Development consists of four divisions working with planning and development, environment and building permits, technical matters, and geographic information. The Environment and Building Division consists of eleven employees and is led by the urban development board. Located at City Hall in Staffanstorp with a bus stop as a neighbor. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES You will mainly work with supervision and administration according to the Environmental Code within the field of environmental protection. Other legislation may also be relevant in the work. Work as an inspector involves many contacts with business operators and municipality residents. We use EDP Vision as our case management system. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is goal-oriented, outgoing, and takes responsibility. You have higher education in the field of environment and health protection or other education that the employer finds equivalent. It is meritorious if you have experience with similar work tasks and government administration. You have good knowledge of the Environmental Code, have a good ability to read and interpret legislation and court decisions. You are skilled at independently organizing and prioritizing your work and have a strong desire to take own initiatives. Since a large part of the work involves contact with people and other authorities, you need to be trustworthy, attentive, and good at communicating in speech and writing in Swedish. The work involves constant contact and dialogue with other case handlers in the department, which places high demands on good collaboration skills. Experience working with EDP Vision is meritorious.
