About the jobVerdis is responsible for waste collection in parts of Malmö, with VA Syd as our client and collaboration partner. This fall, our assignment in Malmö is expanding as we also take over parts of the FNI collection. That's why we're now looking for engaged and positive environmental workers with C licenses and waste management certificates. As an environmental worker, you have a key role in the company. You are Verdis's face to the public and you'll be one of our everyday heroes helping keep Malmö clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the waste management assignment is carried out in accordance with the company's procedures and our client's requirements. You'll work from our depot in Malmö and report to local management. Your work tasks include, among other things: Waste collection and transport Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment Incident reporting Daily maintenance of vehicles and equipment Who are you?We're looking for someone with a C license and waste management certificate who is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. The following experience and knowledge are considered merits: Experience driving heavy vehicles Knowledge of heavy vehicles Experience with some type of waste collection Local knowledge (Malmö) Good computer skills This position suits you if you thrive with active work at a fast pace and have good physical fitness.
