About the jobVerdis is responsible for waste collection in parts of Stockholm city, with Stockholm Vatten och Avfall as principal and collaboration partner. To strengthen the department, we are now looking for engaged and positive environmental workers with C driving license and YKB. As an environmental worker, you have a key role in the company. You are Verdis's face to the outside world and you become one of our everyday heroes who helps keep Stockholm clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the waste management assignment is carried out in accordance with the company's procedures and our principal's requirements. You work from our depot in Älvsjö and report to the local work supervisor. Your work tasks include, among other things: - Collection and transport of waste - Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment - Deviation reporting - Daily maintenance of vehicle and superstructure Who are you?We are looking for someone who has a C driving license and YKB and who is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. The following experience and knowledge we consider as merits: - Experience driving heavy vehicles - Knowledge of heavy vehicles - Experience with some form of waste collection - Local knowledge (Stockholm) - Good computer skills The position suits you if you enjoy dynamic work at a fast pace and have good physical fitness.
