Environmental Worker / C-Class Driver at Verdis in Upplands Väsby

We are seeking dedicated environmental workers with a C-class driver's license and waste handling certification (YKB) for Verdis in Upplands Väsby. We are currently looking for dedicated environmental workers for our depot in Upplands Väsby. About the jobVerdis is responsible for waste collection in several municipalities in northern Stockholm, where we work on behalf of and in close cooperation with each municipality. To meet the demands of our assignments and our high quality standards, we are now seeking you with a C-class driver's license, YKB certification, and a positive drive. As an environmental worker, you are a key person in our daily operations – Verdis's face to the public and part of the team that ensures our municipalities stay clean. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that the waste management assignments are carried out in accordance with our routines and our client's requirements. You will report to local management. Your work tasks include: Collection and transport of waste using rear-loading vehicles Operation of vehicle computers and RFID equipment Incident reporting Daily maintenance/inspection of vehicles and attachments, and washing them as needed Submitting vehicles to the workshop when necessary Who are you?We are looking for someone who: Holds a C-class driver's license with the corresponding YKB certification Speaks and writes Swedish fluently It is advantageous if you have: Previous experience from similar work Prior experience operating rear-loaders Knowledge of digital incident management Familiarity with precision driving This position is ideal for someone with good physical fitness who enjoys dynamic work at a fast pace. You appreciate working outdoors and have no problem working in all weather conditions. As a person, you are service-oriented with good teamwork skills and a solution-focused approach.
