The Environmental Unit is part of the Environmental and Municipal Development Administration. The Environmental Unit consists of 4 employees, and the entire administration comprises a total of 19 employees, including other units such as streets/parks, building permits, GIS, and planning. 1 position(s). DUTIES The Environmental and Municipal Development Administration is now seeking an engaged environmental and health protection inspector who wants to become part of the team. In the role of environmental and health protection inspector, you will have interesting and varied work with significant responsibility within your areas of work. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the operation both within the environmental unit's work group and within the administration. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop in several areas. A large part of the position involves environmental protection supervision and contaminated sites. In addition to supervision and case handling, your duties include providing information and advice to businesses and the public as well as statements to other authorities. Your work tasks will be shaped based on your and the work group's collective expertise. QUALIFICATIONS You should: • Have higher education in the environmental field, such as environmental and health protection or food, environmental science, geoscience, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. • Have good knowledge of relevant legislation. • Hold a valid B-category driver's license. • Be able to express yourself well in speech and writing. • Have good computer skills. We would like to see that you: • Are outgoing, flexible, and service-oriented. • Have experience with the Castor case management system is an advantage. • Have good initiative, are good at collaboration, and communicate well. It is meritorious if you have experience in supervision under the Environmental Code/food legislation. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: September 1st or by agreement. The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be used by already employed personnel or that the conditions for recruitment change. Since Oxelösund Municipality is part of a Finnish administrative area, we would like to see applicants with Finnish language skills.
