We are now seeking a quality-focused microbiologist to join our dedicated team in Östersund. Here you will combine laboratory work with the opportunity to develop within quality assurance and contribute to the laboratory's continued development. Who are we? At Eurofins Hjortens Lab in Östersund, seven dedicated employees conduct analyses of water, food, and other environmental samples. What you will do with us: As a microbiologist with us, you will be an important part of our daily analysis work and contribute to delivering high-quality analytical results within set timeframes. You will, among other things: • Perform microbiological analyses of water and food according to established methods and procedures. • Evaluate results and ensure accurate analyses for our customers. • Participate in the laboratory's ongoing quality work. • Contribute to the development and improvement of methods, processes, and work practices. • Maintain customer contact and collaborate with colleagues across different areas of expertise. Position Requirements Who are you? We are seeking someone with a genuine interest in microbiology and quality, and a desire to develop together with us. To succeed in the role, we believe you: • Have a higher education degree in microbiology or another relevant natural science field. • Have experience with laboratory work. • Are structured, thorough, and quality-conscious. • Have good analytical ability and work solution-oriented. • Enjoy collaborating and communicating with colleagues and customers. • Are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have: • Experience with microbiological analyses in food, water, or environment. • Experience with quality work or quality systems. • Experience with GLP and microbiological analysis techniques.
