A teacher on our staff is taking leave, and we're seeking a fantastic teacher who can replace her. Apply to Knutbyskolan in Rinkeby, a safe school where we have high expectations that our students do their best based on their abilities. We focus especially on our students' knowledge development in Swedish and mathematics.
Knutbyskolan is primarily two-parallel classes in grades K-6. Just over 300 students. We have experienced staff with many different competencies. Classes have approximately 23 students and you will work closely with experienced colleagues, partly together with them in a two-teacher system.

Your role
-Teaching mathematics, English, and Swedish/Swedish as a second language in grade 5
-Possibly teaching Spanish in grade 6
-Two-teacher system for much of the time in Swedish/Swedish as second language and mathematics where you teach, plan, and assess together.
-Mentorship for a class in grade 5
-Extra study time
This is a substitute position due to leave of absence during school year 26/27 starting in September
Your competence and experience
-Certified teacher with qualifications in mathematics, Swedish as a second language/Swedish, mathematics, and English for grades 4-6.
-Preferred: qualification in Spanish for teaching Spanish as an elective language
-Clear leader with focus on relational leadership
-Swedish language at a high level so you can be a role model for the students
-Experience and knowledge of language development methods and how they can be integrated throughout teaching.
