Right now we are seeking a technician - mechanic for our production facilities within heating and cooling. <img src="https://sae3ndp007.blob.core.windows.net/swe/7cc95e67-979e-4dd9-b59d-8bfcdc855159.jpg"> Your Role As a Mechanical Technician at Mölndal Energi, you will have an important role in the daily work of ensuring high availability and operational reliability in our heating and cooling production facilities. The role has a clear operational focus and encompasses both preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance. You will work with repairs, improvement projects, replacements and installation of new equipment in our facilities. The work tasks are varied and also include welding work. A large part of the work consists of carrying out work orders that arise in connection with fault reports, planned maintenance and annual maintenance shutdowns, but also emergency repairs when needed. The work takes place in close collaboration with the operations organization and other functions within Heating and Cooling. During certain periods, particularly in connection with inspections, you may also take on a more supervisory role towards external contractors. On-call duty may be part of the position. Personal Qualities and Qualifications We are looking for someone who thrives in an environment where collaboration, flexibility and personal responsibility are crucial. As the organization and work group are relatively small, it is important that you are unpretentious and can help out where needed. You have a solution-oriented approach, are stress-resistant and can handle multiple tasks in parallel without compromising on quality. You are thorough, structured and find it easy to remain calm even in situations that require quick action. You contribute to a good collaborative climate and see opportunities in change and development. You likely have: Secondary education with a focus on workshop, mechanics or equivalent Several years of experience with mechanical maintenance in production facilities, the energy sector or similar operations Experience with repairs and maintenance of mechanical equipment Welding skills and preferably welding certification Knowledge of hot work Good computer skills and experience working with digital maintenance systems Also meritorious: Bridge crane, forklift or wheel loader certification Basic electrical knowledge Some knowledge within tribology Basic understanding of pressurized equipment Since we conduct security-sensitive operations, a security clearance will be conducted with the final candidate.
