About the Role We are now seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer for an exciting assignment where you will be an important part of a team that develops and designs marine and land-based products. In this role you are responsible for the entire design process, from requirements management and specification to design and documentation. The design is primarily for machining and sheet metal construction, but some casting also occurs. You will work closely with colleagues in various disciplines where collaboration and joint deliveries are in focus. The work takes place in a technically advanced environment with tools such as Siemens NX (CAD), Teamcenter, and IFS (PDM). If you have experience with mechanical mechanisms and a production-oriented work approach, that is a merit. Your Profile We are looking for someone with at least four years of experience in mechanical design and who is comfortable taking responsibility for your work from idea to finished solution. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: At least 4 years of experience in mechanical design Experience with requirements management, design, and technical documentation Good understanding of design for machining and sheet metal Experience with CAD work, preferably in Siemens NX Familiarity with PDM systems, such as Teamcenter and/or IFS Ability to work both independently and in a team Your own drive and good collaboration skills Meritorious experience includes: Mechanical mechanisms Production-oriented design Cast components As a person, you are analytical, solution-oriented, and quality-conscious.
