Job Description Are you a curious mechanical design engineer interested in working on exciting product development in close collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues? At AFRY Product Development, we are now looking for motivated mechanical design engineers who want to be part of exciting projects across various industries. Responsibilities As a mechanical design engineer, you will: Design and develop mechanical components and systems Work with modeling, simulation, and design in various CAD tools Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other technical disciplines to create innovative solutions Contribute your experience and knowledge while developing together with the team Together with your colleagues, you help our clients develop competitive and sustainable products. Qualifications We are looking for someone with: 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development Relevant education in mechanics, mechanical engineering, or product development Experience with CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, NX, or Catia Experience with technical drawings and GD&T Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing It is advantageous if you have: Practical background from, for example, workshop, production, assembly, or manufacturing industry Knowledge of machined components and other manufacturing processes Experience with materials such as castings, aluminum, sheet metal, and other construction materials B-class driver's license As a person, you are curious, communicative, and solution-oriented. You enjoy working in teams, like to share your experiences, and appreciate developing together with others.
