ABOUT THE JOB As a mechanical engineer/product developer at Rejlers, you work with the development of industrial products, components and technical solutions. The assignments vary in both content and industry and can range from concept development and new design to further development of existing products, product adaptations and technical improvement projects. You work closely with customers and cross-functional teams throughout the development process, from idea and requirements specification to finished solution. The role can include both consulting assignments at the customer site and in-house projects where several of Rejlers' areas of expertise work together to create value for the customer. In the role you will, among other things: Work with mechanical engineering and product development from concept to finished solution Develop industrial products, components and technical systems based on customer needs Produce 3D models, drawings and technical documentation using modern CAD tools Participate in customer dialogues to understand technical challenges and identify solutions Collaborate with colleagues in other technical areas in cross-functional development projects Contribute to the development of our mechanical engineering and product development business in Gothenburg Here you get the opportunity to work on assignments that combine technical depth with variety, while becoming an important part of a team that continues to grow. WHO ARE YOU? We are looking for someone with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and product development within industry. You enjoy a role where you can combine technical work with customer contact and collaboration, and you appreciate the opportunity to contribute with both your expertise and your ideas. You enjoy sharing your experiences and contribute to an environment where knowledge and collaboration drive development forward. To succeed in the role, we see that you have: Relevant technical education at college or university level, for example in mechanical engineering or product development, or alternatively work experience that can be assessed as equivalent Extensive experience in mechanical engineering and/or product development within industry Experience with at least one CAD tool, such as Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA or Creo Good communication skills in Swedish and English in both speech and writing B-class driving license It is a merit if you have experience of consulting assignments or work in cross-functional development teams.
