Responsibilities:
As a mechanical engineer at Head Energy, you'll drive the development of future energy and industrial solutions. Together, we contribute to a more sustainable society and the industry's green transition.
You'll have the opportunity to work on high-tech development projects. The projects are in our business areas Energy, Industry/Product Development, and Process. As a design engineer, you'll work with product and machinery design with a focus on technically efficient solutions. Work takes place either with and at our clients or in our in-house projects, which creates great opportunities for personal experience development. Depending on your background, you'll be able to work with leading product development companies and/or machinery and automation-focused companies.

Projects may involve new development or product and machinery updates. You'll often have the opportunity to be involved from start to finish and see the product/systems commissioned and put into production.
As a mechanical design engineer, you'll work with:
Mechanical design of products, machinery, and systems using 3D CAD and drawing creation (2D and 3D)
Design in close collaboration with calculation, electrical/electronics, and software
Participating in material selection and production methods
Participating in testing
Participating in supplier selection
Providing technical support to aftermarket and production
Technical support to customers
Ensuring development work follows customer procedures and complies with applicable standards and regulations
Quality assurance and technical review of development work against the original specification
Participating in testing and production commissioning
Performing risk and safety assessments/analyses
Education and Experience:
University degree in mechanical/mechanical engineering
At least 3 years of professional experience as a design engineer
Experience with CAD systems such as Creo, SolidWorks, Catia, Inventor, NX
You may have experience designing products for personal and consumer use, as well as products for production and system solutions
Experience with commissioning and close collaboration with, or working with electrical design is a plus
