As a tools mechanic, you are required to build according to current instructions and assembly must always be done in the safest, simplest, and most efficient way that has been decided. This with an effort to contribute to meeting the daily goals. Job Description Do you want to work practically, tinker and develop within industry – without needing to know everything from the start? We at NearYou are now looking for an industrial mechanic for our client Permobil AB, where you get the opportunity to grow into a key role. Over the next two years, you will work closely with an experienced colleague who will gradually teach you the trade. Here you get a unique chance to build your skills step by step and eventually become our next specialist in tools and mechanics. As a tools mechanic, you will have a key role in our production and development. You work both operatively and development-oriented – with great influence on how we work. You will not be expected to know everything from the start. Instead, you will receive structured on-the-job training where you learn from an experienced colleague over a longer period. It is a merit if you have: • Experience as a tools mechanic or similar role within the metal industry • Basic knowledge of CNC programming • Good mechanical understanding and practical skills • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings • Merit: Experience in prototype development, turning and milling, fixture manufacturing, and measurement technology The position begins as a consultant employment through us at NearYou where you work for our client, with the aim of transitioning to a permanent position at Permobil.
