About Us
We manufacture cement, which is the foundation of society building—from housing to infrastructure. We care about climate, people, and natural values, and we place great emphasis on ensuring that our products and work methods are safe, sustainable, and responsible in all respects. At our company, you are expected to take responsibility while having the opportunity to grow in your role within the factory or the wider organization. At our Skövde facility, we are proud of the products we manufacture.
Your Role
One of our skilled employees is moving on to a new opportunity, and we are therefore seeking a mechanic for our maintenance department. You will become part of a competent team with great camaraderie that enjoys having fun at work. The work is varied. If you are experienced, you will make full use of all your skills—and if you are new to your role, you will have experienced colleagues for support.
We offer versatile work in both workshop and factory environments. As a mechanic, you will work on troubleshooting and repairs throughout the factory, as well as occasionally on new installations. Your work is reported in the SAP system. You collaborate with all departments in the factory as well as with contractors. In addition, you have the opportunity to participate in the department's work to optimize and develop maintenance, as well as take part in working groups focused on projects, maintenance, and operations. We work with continuous improvements and welcome your ideas.
A typical day begins with a team meeting where you review how the factory is running and address any urgent matters that need attention. The day's work is prioritized and distributed. Usually you work at least in pairs during the day, but solo work does occur. Work tasks might include welding, sheet metal processing, mechanical troubleshooting, bearing assembly, gearbox repair, hydraulics, or pneumatics. In the morning, there is a brief meeting focusing on health and safety, along with current factory information. We also take time for open discussions about ongoing work to find the best way to resolve any problems.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. You enjoy solving problems and collaborating to achieve good results. Work pace varies, and it is important that you adapt to the situation and have the ability to prioritize. You are safety-conscious in everything you do and maintain good order with your tools and work area. On-call duty may be required.
We value the qualities that diversity and balanced gender representation bring to our operations and therefore welcome applicants with different backgrounds and life experiences.
