Mechanic at Volvo Trucks in Tuve Now there is an opportunity to work in a varied and technical role where quality, problem-solving, and collaboration are in focus. Apply for the mechanic position with us at the Tuve factory! At our factory in Tuve, we are now seeking mechanics for our adjustment department. In this role, you will work on adjusting and building trucks after standard production, as well as performing customer-specific modifications in post-assembly. The work also includes addressing reported defects and completing missing or lacking material. We offer a developing role in a committed operation where you have the opportunity to work close to the product and contribute to high quality in the final result. Your working hours will be scheduled during daytime 06:42 – 15:48 or evening shift 15:48 – 00:42. Work Tasks - Adjustment and completion of vehicles in the post-process - Customer-specific modifications and post-assembly of trucks - Address reported defects and deviations - Work according to assembly instructions and drawings/sprints - Collaboration with colleagues and other departments We believe you are a quick learner, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You thrive in a practical environment and enjoy working in a solution-oriented manner. Qualifications - B-level driver's license - Approved upper secondary school grades in core subjects Swedish 1, English 5, and Mathematics A - At least 1 year of experience working in production, industry, or workshop - Good machine and tool skills - Good ability to interpret assembly instructions and read drawings/sprints - Good product knowledge with knowledge of vehicles - Advantageous if you have a C-level driver's license and a mechanic qualification We offer a developing role in a committed operation where you have the opportunity to work close to the product and contribute to high quality in the final result together with your colleagues at the Tuve factory.
